On March 19, the ninth regular meeting of the Club of Heads of trade-economic missions (Embassy departments) of foreign countries, accredited in Moscow was held at the Expocentre.

The theme of the meeting was: “Education: international cooperation, human resources, development of competitiveness and new opportunities.”The Vice-rector of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, the Vice-rector of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration and Deputy Vice-rector of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation have spoken about the internationalization of education, human resources, competitiveness and international rankings.

The Head of National Information Center has been spoken about the export and promotion of the Russian education system.

And the Chairperson of the «OPORA RUSSIA» committee has mentioned the integration of education and business.

The Deputy Head of the Representation of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area to the Government of the Russian Federation, the Vice-rectors of Ukhta State Technical University and the Ural State Economic University have highlighted the prospects for the education development in their regions. The representative of the Swiss Embassy has spoken on the topic of international cooperation in the field of education, mentioning the support that is being provided to Russian students in this field.

“Hour of Russian Regions” completed the official part of the event.
